I have been involved in facilitations for  non-profit and community oriented organizations.

Facilitators help groups work together more effectively by improving how participants communicate, examine and solve problems, and make decisions.

Facilitation is beneficial whenever an organization needs to focus on issues that require fresh, innovative and positive group dynamics. Facilitation works well for mission formulation, strategic planning, program and resource prioritization, restructuring and other activities that are enhanced through collaboration and team work.

Facilitation techniques are also effective to ensure that all viewpoints get heard on stakeholders committees, in Town Hall meetings and at other times where there are diverse participants or where the playing field might otherwise feel unequal.
